Company Driver - Heavy Haul Division, Chilliwack, BC

Triton Transport is a progressive and specialized heavy haul transportation company providing services throughout North America from facilities in Chilliwack, British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Company Driver who has experience with 7 - 13 Axle trailing configurations.

If successful, you will be a member of the CLAC union with negotiated annual raises in pay. You will also be eligible for an annual boot allowance, as well as company paid medical/dental/vision benefits, MSP fees, short and long term disability, a pension and matched RRSP savings plan, along with three weeks of vacation in your first year.

Working out of our Chilliwack facility, a Company Driver will carry a variety of loads for construction, oil and gas, mining, forestry and manufacturing industries throughout the Pacific Northwest US, AB, BC and SK. We provide our drivers with a modern fleet of trucks and specialized modular trailers. We value our driver’s safety and wellbeing and provide extensive training and compliance measures.

 The successful candidate must meet the following essential qualifications and requirements:

  • A Class 1 Driver’s License plus a minimum of three (3) years of related driving experience, preferably in the Heavy Haul Industry
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the National Safety Code and HOS regulations
  • Knowledge of the types of trucks & trailers that are operated in a heavy haul environment
  • A mechanical aptitude and knowledge of truck & trailer components
  • Knowledge of NSC and FMCSA regulations and WorkSafe compliance
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and work effectively with interruptions and changing priorities
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to cross the border on a regular basis. A Fast Card is preferred.
